D2 Tool Steel is a high-carbon, high-chromium, air-hardening tool steel that is characterized by a relatively high attainable hardness and numerous, large, chromium-rich alloy carbides in the steel. It provides an effective combination of wear resistance and toughness. It holds an edge very well.

AXES are 100% handmade. Each Axe will be unique and may have some handmade characteristics.
It comes with the high-quality cowhide leather sheath.

Use a Whet Stone to re-sharpen the blade. When done, wash it with soap and water, dry completely, coat with olive oil, and store away from the sheath. Leather pulls moisture out of the air and can rust the blade if stored improperly for long duration of time in the sheath.
